On behalf of the Harvest of Hope Foundation for migrant farmworkers, I would like to migrant service oriented nonprofit organization to participate in the second annual Harvest of Hope Fest from March 12-14th, 2010 at the Saint Johns Fairgrounds in Elton, Florida- just 12 miles from Saint Augustine.
The Harvest of Hope Fest is a unique celebration because it will bring together over 100 progressive and talented bands playing to support our nation's migrant farmworkers. As you well know, migrant farmworkers don't receive much corporate or public support. The Fest is a serious charity event to raise funds for the Harvest of Hope Foundation (www.harvestofhope.net) to provide emergency and educational financial to migrant farmworkers and their families across the country. For you and your organization, a special section of the fairgrounds will be reserved for non-profits who work and/or advocate for migrant farmworkers. This will be an opportunity to reach and meet thousands of open-minded and progressive thinking music aficionados, and to get the word out about how your organization touches migrant farmworkers. We received national publicity about the success of last year's Fest, and we think that this year's Fest will generate more publicity and thus increased awareness of the people who harvest and produce our daily bounty of food.
If you are interested in being a part of this special event, please contact Megan Murphy at nonprofits@harvestofhopefest.com.
I look forward to joining hands with you at the Harvest of Hope Fest.
Sincerely,
Philip Kellerman, President
Harvest of Hope Foundation
